Files are in tab-separated text format without delimiters and can be examined using a word processor, spreadsheet or database program
Specify 'text' as the field format otherwise numeric fields may be corrupted
You will need a zipfile extractor to download the files:

If you have an older program load the file into a text editor such as Notepad first, and split the file into parts.
When loading into a spreadsheet program select 'Text' as the data type for all columns.
If an aircraft has been re-registered it will appear more than once in the data file.
