This is my comprehensive database which shows how information was collected from different official sources and amended or corrected.

The 'AB units' and 'AB fate' columns are cross refences to Air Britain publications and were inserted for cross-checking purposes.

The 'History' column shows the final history data.

Original data from Form 78 movement cards appears in black.

Original data from Form 1180 accident cards and TNA documents is in green.

Information from Operations Record books is in blue.

Errors on official documents and on external references are highlighted in red.

This is an index to the accident cards held by the RAF Museum on microfilm.

Some films have been digitized and consequently the page numbering is slightly different but the order is the same.

There are many errors on the original documents and I have tried to correct these. Amendments are shown in blue. Unresolved errors and queries are shown in red.

The index includes ATA accident reports and also shows how information has also been checked to 3rd party sources.

AIR 81 accident reports are also included. These are being released in batches by the MoD and currently include reports up to late 1943.
